Reviewing Operating Expenses
Paying meticulous attention to the details is something that the Veatch team does best, and our clients depend on our expertise to identify, review and evaluate their leases as well as review their operating expenses. Over the years we have negotiated leases and conducted operating expense reviews for Production Solutions, a direct mail marketing firm in northern Virginia.
In one particular instance, the Veatch team conducted a review of Production Solutions’ operating expense bill from the Landlord in light of a particular clause that Veatch had negotiated in the lease. The review and consequent discussion with the Landlord resulted in a savings of over 33% in the firm’s operating expenses. Negotiating operating expense clauses at the beginning of a lease is one thing; following through to ensure the Landlord abides by those clauses is another. We remain committed to serving our clients even after the real estate transaction has been finalized.
