Sometimes it’s the deals you do not do that save you the most time, money and aggravation. Veatch Commercial spent several months negotiating a long-term renewal for our office space and maintained objectivity and integrity throughout the process, continually providing us the pros and cons of staying in our existing space or relocating. Veatch also uncovered some very critical information that was very valuable in our decision-making process. We were surprised that Veatch would even be able to ascertain such information and, from what we learned, the information was not even known at the time by the listing broker. This information resulted in our firm deciding not to do a long-term lease at our existing building but instead opt for a shorter-term extension. Ultimately, we signed a long-term lease at a different building that better fit our long-term goals and objectives. We will not make any moves now or in the future with regard to anything commercial real estate-related without consulting Veatch Commercial.
